We visited without a reservation on a busy Friday evening and it was early, so we were lucky enough to be seated in a table inside the ground floor, which was fine. First impressions are excellent: the atmosphere is cosy and the ambience is lovely....In addition to the wonderful decoration, it feels like you are at a friend's home. Of coursel, the tables are cramped and very narrow (as is the norm in Parisian bistros). The menu is quite limited, and it is not written in english, but the waiters speak english and they explain to you everything you need to know about the dishes. However, after that part, the service became a little indifferent. We ordered the asperges bio (asparagus with sauce hollandaise and parmesan cheese, at 18 Euros), the ravioli au champignons (mushrooms ravioli, at 13 euros) and the supreme de volaille en ballotine (chicken breast in ballotine with mascarpone creme, at 25 euros), plus 2 glasses of red wine. The food is tasty, but not something exceptional, and the prices are very expensive, especially in relation to the size of the portions (very small).T he asparagus was fine, and the ravioli was nice, with a tasty sauce, although it didn't have great mushroom flavour, as they should. if you want to have a proper full meal (with starter, main dish and perhaps a dessert) you should definitely estimate around (or more than) 50 euros per person, and I am not sure if it is worth the splurge. An enjoyable, but quite pricey, experience overall.More
