Latest PostGood night!
Well, that's that from us. Thanks for joining us this evening on what was a spectacular night for top seed Carlos Alcaraz and now we can all look forward to a mouth-watering semi-final between the Spaniard and 22-time Grand Slam champion Novak Djokovic.
But that's not until Friday.
So, until then, join us from 10:00 BST on Wednesday to listen to Ons Jabeur against Beatriz Haddad Maia on BBC Radio Sports Extra.
We'll have live text coverage of Iga Swiatek against Coco Gauff from around 11:30 BST and we'll be taking you through the afternoon and evening action on radio and live text, too.
Plus you can stay up to date with all things tennis here.
See you soon!
What's coming up tomorrow?
Wednesday sees the second day of quarter-final action at Roland Garros with both the men and women in action when we'll find out who makes up the semi-final line-ups.
In the women's draw, Ons Jabeur takes on Beatriz Haddad Maia hoping to join Aryna Sabalenka and Karolina Muchova in the semi-finals.
Seventh seed Jabeur meets the Brazilian 14th seed having now reached the quarter-finals in all four Grand Slam events.
Iga Swiatek and Coco Gauff will then face off in a repeat of last year's final where the Pole came out on top to take a second title at the clay-court Slam.
Over on the men's side, number 22 seed Alexander Zverev will take on Argentinian Tomas Etcheverry, the surprise package of the quarter-finals who is ranked 49 in the world and has never reached a Grand Slam quarter-final match before.
Then, in Wednesday's showpiece match Danish number six seed Holger Rune will face Norwegian fourth seed Casper Ruud under the lights.
Rune survived an error-strewn, eventful, five-set thriller with Francisco Cerundolo to set up an all-Scandinavian quarter-final.
What else happened today?
So we've just seen world number one Carlos Alcaraz triumph over Stefanos Tsitsipas to set up an epic semi-final tie against 22-time major winner Novak Djokovic.
Earlier on Tuesday, Djokovic survived a quarter-final scare from Karen Khachanov, winning 4-6 7-6 (7-0) 6-2 6-4.
On the women's side of the draw, Aryna Sabalenka kept her hopes of a second successive Grand Slam alive when she beat Ukraine's Elina Svitolina 6-4 6-4.
After her win, Belarusian Sabalenka resumed her regular media duties and said she does not support her president Alexander Lukashenko "right now" because of his backing of Russia's war in Ukraine.
The second seed will play Karolina Muchova in the last four, after the Czech reached her first French Open semi-final with a straight-set victory over former Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova.
In the opening day of the wheelchair singles matches, doubles partners Alfie Hewett and Gordon Reid won their first-round ties to set up an all-British quarter-final against each other.
Meanwhile, it was bad news for Britain's Neal Skupski and and partner Wesley Koolhof in the men's doubles. The top seeds were defeated 6-3 7-6 (7-4) by Spain's Marcel Granollers and Argentine Horacio Zeballos, the 10th seeds.

Well, what a day it has been. Let's remind ourselves how it went...
'It is the match everyone wants to see'
Alcaraz 6-2 6-1 7-6 (7-5) Tsitsipas
Carlos Alcaraz speaking after his quarter-final win: "I believe in myself all the time. That is the most important thing. Not only for me, for everyone. I always think that I am going to play these kind of matches and this level and that's the key with everything, with joy. That's the key.
"I lost my focus a little bit at the end of the third set. I had a couple of match points. He [Tsitsipas] started to play better and of course, I lost my focus a little bit, I was in trouble. I am happy to recover from that problem and still focus and play a great level. [I was] believing in myself, believing that I was going to win the third set, but it was very tough at the end of the match."
On the prospect of facing Novak Djokovic in the semi-finals: "I would say I feel the energy and the love form the people and playing here is amazing. I feel the love, the energy from the crowd. This match everyone wants to watch and I would say it is going to be a good match to play and watch as well. I really wanted to play this match. If you want to be the best you have to beat the best, and Novak Djokovic is one of the best in the world at the moment. It is going to be a tough one for me but I am really happy to play such a great level."

Game, set and match Alcaraz
Alcaraz 6-2 6-1 7-6 (7-5) Tsitsipas
He's got it!
That was seriously impressive stuff from the top seed Carlos Alcaraz. Apart from the little wobble in that third set he was almost entirely faultless.
Remarkable from the 20-year-old.
