Boise School District will once again participate in the federally-funded Summer Food Service Program. Breakfast and/or lunch will be provided to children ages 1 through 18 at a number of school and park sites without charge.

Five secondary schools in Boise School District received the “Best High Schools” designation from U.S. News & World Report’s 2024 Best High Schools rankings. Boise, Borah, Capital, and Timberline High Schools earned high national and metro-area rankings, as did Boise Online School - Secondary.

Meet Idaho's 2024 U.S. Presidential Scholars - Both of Them Are From Timberline High School 05/31/2024

Each year, a commission chooses 161 United States Presidential Scholars, honoring graduating seniors from all over the nation for their excellence. Usually, the two or three students chosen from Idaho come from different parts of the state. This year, the scholars not only both live in Boise, but also both attend Timberline High School.
