Superstar Rajinikanth, who was holidaying with daughter Aishwarya in the US, had finally returned to Chennai on July 24. Ever since the commencement of 2.0, the ardent fans of Rajnikanth have relentlessly quizzed about the possible release date of the film. While his latest film Kabali is shattering all the box office records, reports about Rajinikanth's magnum opus Enthiran 2.0, are already doing rounds on social media.

As director Shankar celebrates his 53rd birthday today (August 17), Raju Mahalingam, the creative head of Lyca Productions, which is bankrolling the mega-budgeted flick, has announced that the first look poster of Rajinikanth's much-awaited film will release in November this year.

Raju Mahalingam announced this news on Twitter.


Going by his revelation, the first look poster is likely to feature Thalaivar Rajinikanth locking horns with Khiladi Akshay Kumar, who is playing the menacing villain in the film.

Reports also suggest that director Shankar is on the verge of locking the teaser of the film.

Amy Jackson will be seen playing the female lead in 2.0, which also has Sudhanshu Pandey and Adil Hussain in important roles.

Bankrolled by Lyca Productions, the film has music by Academy Award winner AR Rahman and is made on a lavish budget of Rs 350 crore.

Meanwhile, Rajinikanth is expected to resume shoot of the film next week in Chennai.
