- Trail5616272201210 contributionsWent to LWoT for 3d 2n children’s camp. Used the hotel, ballroom and theme park facilities. Amazing view and location. Great hotel and theme park- all within walking distance. Hotel staff were helpful. Hotel food and catering was okay and can be better (some dishes were salty/spicy- can lessen these). Theme park was great and clean. We watched the flaming percussion show. Amazing skills and showmanship. The area of the show, especially seating for audience was slightly cramped. This can be improved for guest to sit comfortably rather than standing during the show. Waterpark was great fun and all equipped with helpful lifeguard. All in all, not bad and enjoyable place to bring family and children to LWoT.Written 4 June 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - KBSManila, Philippines14 contributionsSmall museum but it was very informative. Got a glimpse of the tea culture of Ipoh and Malaysia. It is a self guided tour. You can buy a tea from them as well. Entrance is freeWritten 22 April 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- KamelmatPerth, Australia102 contributionsWorth a visit if you’re in the area. It is a beautiful temple nestled in a large cave. The lighting within the cave makes photographing an easy task.Written 7 May 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Steve RBolton, UK524 contributionsIf you're in the area then you should definitely visit Perak Tong. It's one of a few temples within a cave in Malaysia and has a relaxed and thought provoking vibe to it. I can recommend it but only for an hour or so.Written 5 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- shedeeGold Coast, Australia239 contributionsNice an well maintained caves . Took Tour 2 due to the raining season but it was fairly easy with lots of steps that makes you sweat a lot at the end. However, there is suitable lighting and we were able to appreciate the awesome caves but sad to see graffiti on some of the areas. Wish management were a little strict to monitor and clean it. Saw a guide that didn't reprimand some kids on a tour that didn't follow the instructions and sneaked out of the path. Anyway, it's a good experience for 2 hours. There is very limited option for food or water so bring your own.Written 1 December 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - KamelmatPerth, Australia102 contributionsIt has a bit of history and worth a wander for a look. There are stalls/shops either side of the lane that sell nothing special. The only shop I really enjoyed and bought something was a chinese herbal shop at one end.Written 7 May 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - LeonhknyHong Kong, China19,694 contributionsWhile Penang has long been well-known for street art, Ipoh also has its fair share of murals. Interesting paintings depicting daily life of Ipoh residents are available in the old town. Searching for artworks while exploring the former mining city is an enjoyable experience.Written 21 January 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
