Expo 2025

Hi there.

I managed to book early bird tickets for this.

The implication is that these are valid for the opening day (13th April 2025) plus the following couple of weeks.

However, it isn't entirely clear to me how I would pick 13th April as my entry date. These tickets seem to simply offer me the opportunity to gain entry in the first couple of weeks, with specific dates perhaps becoming bookable later.

On the official site, I can't find specific info about entry on the opening day - and it is the opening day that I am interested in due to my tight schedule (I need to leave Osaka on the last Shinkansen to Tokyo on 14th April latest).

Does anyone have a link to some other site that can help explain the process for gaining entry on opening day?

Thanks.

I am sorry that I cannot answer you question but wondered if you can answer mine. How did you even buy the ticket? I am on the Expo2025 site and I made an account. I tried to "login" on the purchase tickets link and it is asking me for authentication on my smartphone or my computer. Both methods seem way too invasive. It either wants my Microsoft PIN for for my user account or it wants my Samsung password to my Samsung account. Am I doing something wrong? I downloaded the Registration Expo manual and it shows me to link my Microsoft accounts to their expo sites and share my passwords but that just seems extra wrong! I linked the Manual below.

and it says that you can use your Expo Account to book your entry date and time no more than 6 months prior to entry date once your have received your e-ticket.

Although i am not sure current status, while ago we had a news that construction of pavilions were significantly delayed due to the boosted up construction cost and shortage of labors due to the earthquake occurred new years day in Noto. I assume Expo organization and our government will determine if expo can be postponed or shrank.

“Bookings for admission dates and times will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis, starting six months prior to your desired admission date.

Please note that if you purchase a "Super Early Bird One-Day Ticket" and win the pavilion special lottery held in advance, your admission date and time may be decided earlier than six months prior to your visit.”
