Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What travellers are saying
- Benno5Cheshire309 contributionsWe parked just across the road in small free car park. Walked across to see the statues and the Bridge. Then 10 minute stroll to old town for a coffee.Written 9 July 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Laura HLuxembourg City, Luxembourg35 contributionsA lovely chateau near Giverny. We had an excellent guided visit and learnt very much about the previous and current owner. If you are interested in French history or chateaux then it's very worth a visit. Our very knowledgeable guide spoke English, German and French. This chateau can only be visited with a guide, so check on its website for the times of the guided visits.Written 25 May 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Benno5Cheshire309 contributionsTook a walk to the old town from the other side of the bridge where we parked and took in a few of the sights and had a coffee overlooking this. Great lovely location and real-time LT newly pedestrianised it seemed.Written 9 July 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - CabanaWomanShreveport, LA223 contributionsVernon is a lovely little town, easy to walk and explore. The church was undergoing renovations, but was still nice to experience.Written 13 September 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Laura HLuxembourg City, Luxembourg35 contributionsIt's worth a visit to this small museum. We saw some lovely impressionist paintings. There are a couple of original Monet's paintings too.Written 25 May 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - ADB0214Bucharest, Romania108 contributionsThe museum is hosted by an old French house, an attraction itself, with a small but nice courtyard in front of it (the statues are beautiful). They host an interesting impressionist exhibition (with attractive paintings by American painters settled in the area or staying for a longer time, apart from Monet's works). Now it is particularly indicated to visit the museum since they host a wonderful Blanche Hoschede exhibition, showing her very special ties with Monet.Written 23 August 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Roland BZurich, Switzerland1,802 contributionsit's an imposing construction, this Flamboyant Gothic style church on the banks of the Seine. but it is in a quite bad stage and desperately would need some reconstruction works. still it is definitely worth to visit.Written 28 July 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Sue MWilliamsburg, VA1,516 contributionsThis tower is a remnant of an ancient Vernon castle dating back to the 12th century! You cannot go in it and a small plaza with a fountain was built next to it. It's nice that it has survived all these centuries.Written 9 November 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
