The holiday-centered love story between Miranda Chester (Erin Krakow) and Ian McAndrick (Niall Matter) continues in the brand-new Hallmark Movies & Mysteries film, Marrying Father Christmas.
The third segment of the Father Christmas trilogy is set in Vermont on screen, but the real-life location is a bit further northâin Abbotsford, Canada, according to I've Scene It on Hallmark.
Abbotsford is a city in British Columbia with a population of about 141,000 people. Viewers will recognize an expansive residence that has been a mainstay in all three movies: the Whitcomb House.
In reality, the Whitcomb House is actually a privately-owned home that sits on an estate called Heronsbridge. Heads up to brides-to-beâyou'll definitely want to consider this gorgeous venue for your own wedding.
Heronsbridge is nestled on 10 acres of pristine land with gardens, trails, and fields. The site also features a gorgeous gazeboâwhich is actually where Ian proposed to Miranda in Engaging Father Christmas!
In this Father Christmas installment, as Ian and Miranda plan their wedding, the couple is having a hard time deciding on one very important detail: where their ceremony will take place.
Although they initially decided on their cozy cottage, the lovers are now having second thoughts, and might take their nuptials to the impressive Whitcomb House. With just four days until they say "I, do," and a venue yet to be picked, there's definitely some tension between the future Mr. and Mrs.
With such a beautiful spot to film, it's no surprise the actors were thrilled to return to Heronsbridge. "I am so excited to be back for Father Christmas number three, Marrying Father Christmas this time," Krakow said in a behind-the-scenes video. "It's been a special project to be a part of."
