I started at highland in my second year of highschool. It is a really good school where everyone can be themselves. I definitely enjoy attending Highland Regional High School.
Overall, I had a very positive experience at Highland Regional High School. I am currently a senior there. The teachers are definitely the best part of the school itself, they are amazing, knowledgeable, compassionate, and genuine. Some of the best teachers I've had have been at this school. The administrative staff is okay, I think a lot of things are out of control in terms of fights and student behavior that could be better enforced, rather than the staff just telling us to put our ID on.
I only attended this school for my senior year, before that I did however attend its sister school, Timber Creek Regional. I can happily say that I enjoyed my time so much more in my senior year than at my other 3 years in another school. At Highland Regional, I was truly treated like family. Every teacher I met shared their kindness with me, many of the students also kindly welcomed me. I was even fortunate enough to be greeted with open arms when I joined the cross country team. It was clear to me that the teachers there actually cared about their job and prioritized the education and the well being of each and every student. I do not recall wanting anything to change, they are doing an amazing job at running the school.
