Great way to get the highlights of the royal palace museum

Our guide was knowledgeable, and provided good insights on each room of the museum and surrounding area.

I booked an afternoon tour of the Royal Palace in Madrid. When I arrived at the designated meeting place, there was no one representing De Paseo to be found. A local shopkeeper offered to call the operator, who advised that there would be no tour because the Palace was closed and would remain closed for the remainder of our stay in Madrid. His English was incoherent. This was not true, as the Palace would be open for another two hours. I learned this from another tour operator in the area, who told me I could enter the Palace by 3:00 pm, before it closed at 4:00 pm. Thanks to her, I was able to see the Palace on my own. De Paseo made no effort to issue a timely refund. De Paseo's lack of responsibility and the total breakdown in communications was inexcusable.
