Bowl with transparent glaze
This finely potted bowl carries a six-character underglaze blue reign mark of the Hongzhi emperor on the base within a double ring. White court porcelain made in the Hongzhi reign has a blue tinged glaze. The Hongzhi emperor (AD 1488–1505) was quite conservative in his commissions for Jingdezhen.
