Biography
Philip Hansen "Phil" Anselmo is an American musician who is best known as the lead singer for the groove metal band Pantera. He is currently the frontman for the Louisiana-based metal act Down, and a somewhat solo project called Philip H. Anselmo & the Illegals. He was the guitarist in hardcore punk act Arson Anthem, who are currently on hiatus. He is also the owner of Housecore Records.In ...

Phil appeared as a guest vocalist on the Anal Cunt album 40 More Reasons to Hate Us. He also appeared as a guest vocalist on Vision of Disorder's song "By the River" off their album Imprint.He was married to Stephanie Weinstein from 2001 to 2004.
