I have had the Dreyse and may have posted it a while ago. My son found me the holster shortly after and it had a very aged piece of paper down inside with Dreyse 1907 written on it. At the time I probably wasn't wearing glasses and assumed it was unmarked. Tonight as I was moving some things around in the safe I caught a glimpse of something on the holster. Any comments would be appreciated, John.
A very nice holster that works nicely with your Dreyse. I would assume a WWI marked holster. I think I have a 1914 Mauser and extra mag. with the same markings.

Very interesting....The holster does appear to have a makers mark inside right around the dark stain. There are 3 distinct lines. The bottom line clearly is "königs" for Köningsberg which was a Prussian city but is now part of Russia. The other two lines I can only make out individual letters. but the first word appears to be a "Sa?lter with a "=" sign after it which could indicate the 2nd line is the last half of the name of the company. as for the outside of the holster. I can see a "35" or even possible number before it and above it a word that looks like "OS??DEL" I hope this helps. I have one similar, my Dreyse 1907 came as a Rig with 2 marked mags and the holster itself is marked to the gun as it was a police issue and the holster is a Larsen dated 1938. so does that number correspond with your serial number at all?
Thanks, I have a holster from OTTO SINDEL and think that is what the back stamp is, above that is what looks like a straight wing eagle holding a swastika. I am more curious about the markings under the flap konigs ?. OTTO SINDEL was in Berlin. Thanks again, John.
