Enjoy a night off! Kids: leave your parents at home and spend the evening at the Y! Kids will enjoy a variety of games, crafts, play time and activities.

What are the Ages of Kid’s Night Out?
6 weeks through 12 years old. The program is open to both YMCA members as well as community.

No, kids will be grouped by ages and will participate in age appropriate activities
How is security & check-in/out handled?
We have strict security measures in place to ensure the well-being of all. While the YMCA is open, children will be playing in spaces not otherwise occupied by members. If applicable, after the YMCA closes for the evening, the outside doors will be locked.
If you choose to come pick up your child early, you will need to let staff know during drop off so they can open the door for you.
Parents or guardians will use the existing KidCheck system for check in/out and only authorized individuals listed on the account will be allowed to pick up children. Please have photo identification available for pick up if asked.
What does a light dinner and snack mean?
Dinner will be a balanced meal for your child to ensure they have an enjoyable and comfortable evening. Snacks may be related to the evening’s theme and could include items like fruit, crackers and cheese, popcorn or other easy to enjoy choices.
What if my child has a food allergy?
We take the safety of all children seriously, including those with food allergies. While we strive to accommodate various dietary needs, we may not be able to provide special meals for every child with allergies. We encourage parents to inform us of any allergies during registration, and our staff is trained to take necessary precautions.
For parents of children with specific dietary requirements, we recommend providing a labeled snack or meal that meets their child’s needs. This ensures that we can maintain a safe environment for all participants.
What does my child need to bring?
Socks (bring or wear), jacket in case of outdoor play, labeled water bottle or spill proof cup, change of clothes if not fully potty trained. If your child is under 2, you may want to provide a snack for your child.
What is the procedure for emergencies or medical situations?
In case of emergencies or medical situations, our staff are trained to follow established protocols. All YMCA are CPR & first aid trained. Parents will be notified via text or phone call if any medical attention is required. If your child becomes ill at the event, staff will notify you and we ask that you return to pick up your child as soon as possible.
What will my child get to do while at Kid’s Night Out?
Activities will vary by branch but may include: Indoor play structure, outdoor playground or field games, active play and group games, themed based stem and art activities. An age appropriate movie may be shown towards the end of the evening for children 3-up.
