Chris Hemsworth’s on-screen performances have led audiences to believe he is a strong muscular man who can come out victorious against all odds. As Thor and even Tyler Rake in the Extraction films, the man can do no wrong and can face off against any foe without much difficulty. The real Hemsworth is a human being after all, and he also has his own share of vulnerabilities and fears.

In the teaser for the new episode of Hot Ones premiering this coming Thursday, Hemsworth is the new guest (via X). It opens up with the actor admitting to being scared of the whole thing while also struggling to maintain his composure after eating a spicy chicken wing. As he gulps down a glass of milk to calm down his nerves, he jokes that he is not bored anymore and is highly energized.

His reactions are reminiscent of other MCU stars who similarly struggled to make it past the later spicier sauces. Tom Holland, Scarlett Johannsson, and Paul Rudd lost their calm by the time they ingested Da Bomb, the spice that put them on the ringer and left them sweating and crying. However, some MCU stars managed to brave the onslaught of the spices much better (via Screenrant).

Jeremy Renner (Hawkeye) showed his resilience and the ability to maintain his composure for most of his episode, unlike Hemsworth. Elizabeth Olsen surprised everyone as she ran the spice marathon till the end, having no effect on her and not showing any wild reactions like her MCU counterparts.
