Is this a homebrew class you're trying to design or is this your plan for how you're going to flavor an existing class?

As a newcomer to DND who loves to know more about it, I'd like a little elaboration

Read the PHB and DMG and once you learn the game dynamics, then go ahead a homebrew. But first comes learning the foundations on the game then build on them.

Walk before you run kid.

Ok, Merci Monsieur

I mean this in the politest way possible, but if your DM hasn't told you you can run this homebrew, then you can't. And if your DM HAS given you the OK, then they are the only ones who can really tell you if it's balanced for their game. You'll want to work this through with your DM, and not strangers on the internet who don't have any say over what homebrew is allowed.

Ok, Au revoir Monsieur

I wouldn't run this as a new player. As a dm I wouldn't allow this at all actually. It's just too complicated and will make combat a slog. The things you can do are also incredibly broken. Making clones is a 7th level spell that takes a lot of time and money, the clones can't regain spells slots either. What does guardians do exactly? What is life or death? When do you roll the dice? Generally instant kills aren't a feature, they can derail games and also end in player death way to early especially is 50/50 case's like this one.

The guardians are based of the stats of number the dice rolled or the hand played

Life and death just gives me a chance to gamble my life with the reaper

The time the dice is rolls is the same as when a mage start it's incantations

There are no instant kills they just increase the power but the more power is cast the more likely i hurt myself as well

Anyways, my luck is 0 the moment start
