Lucknowites enjoyed an enriching session with Tahira Kashyap Khurrana

Director and writer Tahira Kashyap Khurrana was in the city for an insightful session at an event hosted by Ficci Flo Lucknow chapter. While moderating the session, Kareshma Khanna and Vibha Aggarwal asked Tahira some interesting questions. Tahira, who hails from Chandigarh, spoke about how she moved to Mumbai with husband Ayushmann Khurrana. “Life in Mumbai is quite fast-paced, while in Chandigarh it is more calm.It took me seven years to fall in love with Mumbai,” said the Sharmaji Ki Beti director.”

Talking about what advice Tahira would give to her younger self, she said, “To try to have a heart full of gratitude! It is a practice and you can’t become grateful in one day, you cannot become positive one fine day. It takes time to become happy. I wish I did it earlier in my life but I think it’s never too late.”

Soon after the session was over, all the ladies shook a leg on Roar by Katy Perry and Diamonds by Rihanna and took selfies with Tahira.
