Bryn Mawr vs Mount Holyoke
Hi! I got off the Mount Holyoke waitlist, and am considering my options. I love Bryn, but am still thinking about MHC.
I want to be a History major, with a Russian minor! Finances are not a concern.
MHC Pros:
School traditions I liked campus The 5 college consortium My mom is an alumnae Very good history professors
MHC Cons:
Rumors of them getting rid of Russian program (or trying?) Not near a city like BMC BMC is more prestigious?
BMC Pros: Near Philly Consortium with Haverford, can take classes at Penn Cute traditions too Pretty campus Athena statue is a plus Already committed so I wouldn’t lose my deposit
BMC Cons: Not as isolated as MHC- BMC is super close to Haverford Lack of academic support? I think they have more of a STEM focus?
Either way, they’re both sisters and I’m so glad :)
