DescriptionBeing born a few months after the new X-Men were introduced meant I was too young to read those first new X-Men stories when they first were published. I didn't pick up me first issue of X-Men off the stands until #198 so for me, Classic X-men were my first introduction to the new X-Men. I was hooked on the title when it first came out. The Arthur Adams covers, the classic Dave Cockrum and John Byrne art work and the awesome back up stories and back covers by John Bolton. Classic X-men #3 really had it all with the Storm cover with the Marvel 25th anniversary border, the killer Thunderbird inside cover piece, the fantastic reprinting of #95 which quickly become my favorite issue of X-Men at the time and the fantastic and beautifully drawn back up story by Chris Claremont and John Bolton.
