JoJo Siwa has unveiled a brand new tattoo - and it's safe to say it's left her fanbase divided.

The former Dance Moms star recently launched her new, grown-up era with the release of her song ‘Karma’ - but ended up facing some backlash after its release.

Not everyone was impressed with the 20-year-old's rebrand as she ditched her colorful sparkles and large hair bows in favor of a more rock-chick-inspired look complete with black face paint.

But it looks like JoJo didn't let the critics get to her as she revealed her new ink, which is inspired by the music video.

Fans first began to speculate that JoJo had gone as far as to get her own face tattooed on her forearm after she shared a photo dump from the past few weeks, titled: "What a f**kin month”.

Among the carousel of images, JoJo shared shots of herself on a plane and doing various things around her house, as well as a snap of her lying on a bed in a tattoo parlor.

In the photo, JoJo closed her eyes as a tattoo artist got to work on the inside of her forearm - but fans were quick to spot a clue as to what the ink she got might be.

Next to the tattoo artist, they could see a printout of a still of JoJo's made-up face from the 'Karma' music video, leading them to suspect that that was what the design was going to be.

They commented: "pls tell me you didn’t get your face tattooed on your own arm… what,” and: “Did she get a tattoo of HER OWN FACE?!?”

While they're not technically wrong, JoJo didn't get her entire face inked on her skin, but she did get part of it - her eyes.

She took to TikTok to put everyone out of their misery as she unveiled the new design, showing her eyes surrounded by the black face paint in a spiky design.

The dancer captioned the snap: "OBSESSED IS AN UNDERSTATEMENT" as she danced around with the song playing over the top of the video, complete with a filter mimicking her face paint design.

The big reveal left her fans divided, as some speculated that it might be a temporary tattoo - despite her posing in a tattoo parlor chair - while others joked: “I’ve never met someone who loves jojo as much as jojo,” and: “That is on you forever JoJo.”

Others added: "No way she actually had that done," and: "help I thought it was two turtles at first."

Some were loving it, commenting: "ITS PRETTYYY," and: "Unpopular opinion but the tattoo is kinda cool."

One pointed out that it was the perfect comeback to all the backlash she’s faced since releasing the song, adding: “She is so unbothered, it’s funny”.

If there's one thing that's certain, it's that she's never going to forget the 'Karma' era!
