Great album in my opinion. Buddy really shines on it. Happy to go see him live in concert in June!

If there's much interest, I can post all sorts of British magazine album and gig reviews from the mid sixties to date. This one appeared in 'Blues Unlimited' #54, June 1968

We saw Buddy at the Austin Blues Festival just a couple of weeks ago. You would never know the man is 87 the show is just the same as it was 30 years ago.

I guess this is the farewell tour so I would suggest if he's in your town you go see him.

In my top 5 blues albums, and the title track is my #1 blues song.

Lyrics perfectly represent the feeling of having the blues.

“….whilst Buddy was really in his prime.” Honestly?!?!?

I, for one, am glad that no one (afaik) ever wrote me off as past my prime at 31….
