Will John Denver ever get inducted into the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame?

🗣 DISCUSSION

In recent years, the hall of fame inducted Willie Nelson, Dolly Parton, and this year Jimmy Buffet. It causes me to wonder if John Denver has a shot at the Hall of Fame.

I really hope so.

I'm a huge fan of John Denver. For sure he never fit into country or folk music well. And many of his songs are iconic and still hold quality. And they don't really sound dated. And talk about passion. If rock and roll is defined by passion, Denver gets in automatically.

Eagle and the Hawk

I think he topped the Beatles covering Mother Nature's Son.

I wouldn't rule anybody out, to be honest.

😳🤦🏻‍♂️

I don’t know… he was softer than soft rock 🤷🏾‍♂️

Dolly Parton isn’t really R&R either.

Dolly influenced rockers, plus she’s a very household name.
