Boatmance? The *Truth* About Whether Below Deck’s Fraser Is Actually Dating His Charter Guest

Did this boatmance make it to land? Ever since their cheeky kiss on charter, Bravo fans have wanted to know whether Fraser and Steven are together from Below Deck and if they’re dating in the real world now that filming has ended.

Below Deck is Bravo’s reality TV series following the personal and professional lives of crew members who work and reside aboard a superyacht during charter season. Fraser joined Below Deck as a 2nd Stewart in Season 9 before he was promoted to Chief Stewart in Season 10. Unlike his co-stars, Fraser was romance-less throughout his three seasons on Below Deck. That all changed in Season 11 when he kissed a charter guest for the first time.
Fraser and charter guest, Steven Raucci, sparked a romance in Season 11, Episode 13, “Disappointing Daddy,” when they confessed their attraction toward each other on the charter and kissed for the first time at a New Year’s Eve-themed party on the final night. “Everybody’s talking about you having a New Year’s kiss with Steven,” stewardess Barbie told Fraser before his kiss with Steven.
Following his talk with Barbie, Fraser had a conversation with Captain Kerry Titheradge, where he asked Kerry for his permission to kiss Steven. Kerry initially responded that “the crew shouldn’t have to” of a New Year’s Kiss, which led Fraser to clarify, “And if the crew member was really actually keen, then it’s fine?” In response, Kerry agreed and gave his permission for Fraser to kiss Steven.
Following their New Year’s Eve kiss, Fraser and Steven reunited at a crew night out at a club after Steven’s charter ended, where they kissed again and confessed their feelings for each other. “I’m literally obsessed with you,” Fraser told Steven at the club. He continued in a confessional interview, “I don’t know what the future is between Steven and I. It’s the first time I’ve actually had a crush on someone in a long time, and they’ve actually felt similar towards me back. And it’s quite exciting.”

Are Fraser and Steven together from Below Deck? The answer is no. Fraser revealed he was in a relationship in an interview with E! News in January 2024, though he didn’t disclose whether his boyfriend was Steven. “I’m in a relationship at the moment,” Fraser said. “I’m getting lots of DMs of people asking what’s going on, but you’ll all find out in due course. You gotta stay tuned.”
Fraser’s Below Deck co-star, Bosun Ben Willoughby, seemed to confirm, however, that Fraser and Steven weren’t together when Ben revealed that Fraser’s boyfriend was a friend of his that he knew before Fraser started dating him. Given that Ben met Steven on the same charter as Fraser, it’s highly likely that Fraser’s boyfriend isn’t Steven. “Funny enough, I was friends with his boyfriend before he knew him and started dating him. So, I know both Fraser and his current boyfriend separately. I think they’re a great match for one another. They’re very suited for one another and very cheeky,” Ben said.
Fraser also told E! News that his kiss with Steven broke one of his “No. 1 rules” as a Chief Stew. “I do break one of my No. 1 rules actually,” Fraser said. “And I end up getting with the guest. We’ll see what happens there. It’s quite an exciting part of this season.” He added that he was “a bit nervous for everyone to see” his kiss, but added that the romance was “quite exciting” nonetheless.
Fraser also explained why he asked Captain Kerry for his permission to kiss Steven before it happened. “I was beyond respectful and I asked captain way before things got physical,” he said. “He absolutely gave me the green light, so I felt like I could do a home run and I did.”
While Fraser and Steven may not be together, they still follow each other on Instagram so they at least keep in touch. Fraser has also liked Instagram comments from fans expressing their desire to see him and Steven date in real life. “Omg Fraser you and Steven make such a gorgeous couple. My wife and I both said we felt yalls vibe!!! Please tell us yall have stayed in touch?!!” read a comment Fraser liked. Fraser also visited Steven in Aspen, Colorado, after filming ended. Steven shared an Instagram photo of the hangout in March 2023 with the caption: “#prada #aspencolorado #aspen #instagood #instagay #hoteljeromeaspen.” Ben, for his part, commented on the post, “HOT!! 🔥🔥”
