Migrant crossings at the U.S. border with Mexico are down from the record levels seen late last year, but the numbers remain historically high and it’s a major issue in this year’s U.S. presidential race. Mexico recently pledged to crack down harder on illegal crossings, and more migrants are being halted earlier in their journeys as CGTN’s Alasdair Baverstock reports.
