This weekend is going to be super exciting for wrestling fans as the 2024 WWE King and Queen of the Ring will be crowned. The special event on May 25 will host the finals of the 23rd King of the Ring tournament and the 2nd Queen of the Ring tournament. It is being held at the Jeddah Super Dome in Saudi Arabia.

The WWE King and Queen of the Ring tournaments, will be available in India on the Sony Sports channel, with the live stream on SonyLIV. The matches begin at 10 pm IST. The last time both these events were held was in 2021, when Xavier Woods and Zelina Vega were crowned King and Queen of the Ring, respectively.

The final line-up for the King and Queen of the Ring is yet to be determined, with only one semi-final in each being determined yet and the second yet to play out. For instance, while Gunther has a place in the final, having beaten Jey Uso, he will take on the winner of the Tama Tonga vs Randy Orton semi-final. Similarly in the Queen of the Ring segment, Lyra Valkyria defeated Iyo Sky to seal a final spot. She will face the winner of the Bianca Belair vs Nia Jax match.

The King and Queen of the Ring finales apart, the special event will also have three other championship matches. Becky Lynch will face Liv Morgan in the Singles match for the women’s World Championship; Cody Rhodes and Logan Paul will fight it out for the Undisputed WWE Championship title, while Sami Zayn, Chad Gable and Bronson Reed will take the ring in the Triple Threat Match for the WWE Intercontinental Championship.

Interestingly, the Cody Rhodes and Logan Paul match was meant to be for both the WWE and the United States Championships, but the latter made a new contract on a recent Smackdown, stipulating that it will only be for the title that the former currently holds.
