Peshawar: Rain, wind, and thunderstorms are forecasted for Peshawar and various parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Friday evening and night and over the weekend. Isolated hailstorms are also expected during this period.
According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), a shallow westerly wave will affect the upper and western parts of the country starting Friday evening or night.
Under these conditions, partly cloudy skies with rain, wind, and thunderstorms are anticipated in the following areas on Friday evening and night and during the weekend:
Isolated hailstorms are also likely in some of these regions.
In Peshawar, the maximum temperatures are expected to range between 38 and 40°C on Saturday and Sunday.
Over the past 24 hours, hot and dry weather prevailed in Peshawar and most districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Residents are advised to stay updated with the latest weather information and take necessary precautions during the expected thunderstorms and potential hailstorms.
