Returning: The Good Doctor
Seventh and final season for Dr. Shaun Murphy begins later this month.

The seventh and final season of The Good Doctor will screen on Seven from later this month.
This premiered in the US in February. There will be 10 episodes.
“We are incredibly proud of the work we’ve done and the message we’ve been privileged to be a part of,” co-showrunners David Shore and Liz Friedman and fellow executive producer Erin Gunn said in a statement. “We look forward to giving our fantastic fans, the truly extraordinary Freddie Highmore, the rest of our talented actors [and friends], and the best crew in the business the series ending that you all deserve.”
Highmore, who is also an Executive Producer of the series, says: “Playing Dr. Shaun Murphy has been an immense privilege and one of the most remarkable and rewarding experiences of my life. Caring deeply is what got us here. Thank you to everyone who has watched along at home.”
The unforgettable final season of The Good Doctor picks up with Shaun and Lea (Paige Spara) adjusting to parenthood as they debate the importance of schedule and routine for son Steve. Shaun also takes on his first case back at the hospital with two baby patients in need of the same heart.
In addition to Highmore and Spara, the final season main cast includes Richard Schiff as Dr. Aaron Glassman, Fiona Gubelmann as Dr. Morgan Reznick, Will Yun Lee as Dr. Alex Park, Christina Chang as Dr. Audrey Lim, Bria Samoné Henderson as Dr. Jordan Allen, and Noah Galvin as Dr. Asher Wolke.

Any news on when 7 will screen Season 6 of The Resident?
Not yet.
Too little, too late 7. Unfortunatley alot of aussie Good Doctor Fans have been left with no choice but viewing it via other means. It has been a very good season, set for a finale next week in the US(which won’t air here until sometime late July if 7 only plays 1 episode per week).
There are only 10 episodes in the season 7. With the final episode; called “Goodbye”, being broadcast in the US next week (May 21st US).
