Technical Support Request
Every time I play valorant, I get hella low fps and it really ruins my game sometimes, my screen sometimes freezes, and I've tried so many tricks from youtube but none seem to work that well, any suggestions on how I can fix this?
I think I have a DECENT pc (I have no idea if it is acc good or not, not a tech person ahaha), and play on the lowest settings on 1920 x 1080 resolution, so I don't know what's causing my fps to be only 70-80 usually, and sometimes drops to 10?! I usually play valorant while having no other apps open aswell, and put valorant on high priority.

Your CPU is lackluster and your ram can't be on dual channel. Your PC is choking probably.
Edit: Lackluster was overestimating it. Your CPU was 50$ 5 years ago and it wasn't meant for gaming at any moment. So that's what's holding your PC back.
+1 get a better processor and make sure the ram is in dual channel. You still have a good upgrade path where you dont have to change the motherboard - ryzen 5 5600, and it is pretty cheap.

Go in task manager, select Memory and post a screenshot from there.
Valorant is very CPU dependent. Watch some YouTube videos, the best gaming CPU in the world currently, Ryzen 7 7800X3D paired with a super old and low-end GPU, a GTX 1050 Ti, is able to run Valorant at 600 FPS comfortably.
Your RTX 3060 Ti is solid but the Athlon 3000G is pretty lackluster. I recommend a Ryzen 5 3600 or 5600 from the used market as it is on the same platform as your Athlon 3000G. Put that CPU in, maybe update your motherboard BIOS if necessary and enjoy a huge FPS boost.
Also 12GB RAM configuration is not good. You are most likely on 1 8GB stick and 1 4GB stick. It is recommended for the best experience to get 2 RAM sticks of the same capacity and speed. You can buy a dual channel DDR4 3200 MHz RAM and slot them in for better FPS too. Saw your question, dual channel RAM just means 2 sticks of RAM. You can go into the BIOS and enable XMP to help your RAM out a bit.
Overall the CPU and RAM upgrade should set you back ~$100 in USD depending where you live but yeah these 2 changes will help you by a ton in Valorant.
I have three older machines at my house, two of them 6700k another is a 6 core 4xxx something. All of them have FPS issues since the last couple of Valorant updates. I have been playing Valorant on these machines since launch with no issues (Stable 144+ FPS). One of the machines had a new operating system installed and no additional software. I have tested many things. In my eyes Valorant now just suddenly needs 50% more CPU power. I don't think they will fix this problem, it's annoying. I have three other modern computers here, so I don't really care, but it's ridiculous that this problem won't be fixed.

I just try to help people, so they dont search to much at their end in case of Valorant FPS drops at the moment. I have more than 10 Computers here with completly different Hardware and i tested a lot. Valorant just runs fine on the most of them until now. The older ones have problems now all since the last Valorant updates... I know where to point ;)
