Cruel Intentions (Blackmore University, #1)

Cora Kent knew exactly what she was doing when she wrote the Blackmore Trilogy. "Cruel Intentions" was a WILD ride straight from the beginning. I really love the bully/revenge troupe and Xavier did not disappoint in this book AT ALL!
I loved how morally gray and absolutely unhinged he was right from the start. The chemistry between him and Kaye was SPICY. That maze scene will live in my head rent free for all of eternity. I felt like the storyline was really good and the book had a great pace, the plot did jump ahead by a lot at one point, but I didn't mind. It was interesting to see the stepsibling troupe be done in a bully/revenge troupe book, but I ate it up! The kinks in this book was a 5/5. The spice was a 3, but I did enjoy it for the parts that did get a bit steamy. It ended in a HEA and kept me engaged from beginning to end. I can't wait to read the rest of this trilogy.
