Generation X was born, by broadest definition, between 1961 and 1981, the greatest anti-child cycle in modern history. Nevertheless, we grew up to become the world's most devoted parents: the "workhorse of America." RIP Roger Corman.
I only know who this is because of MST3K.
I remember an interview with Roger Corman about how he never made a movie that did not make money. He would use the set pieces.or costumes from the last movie for the next one. He gave people a chance with stakes. His impact on movies and popular.cutlure is immeasurable. I wish there were more people like him in other industries.
RIP. His 60s movie “The Intruder,” written by Twilight Zone writer Charles Beaumont and starring William Shatner, is actually pretty great.
