Dungeons are by far the easiest way to farm XP, gold, and Legendary Drops in Diablo 4. Resetting a dungeon benefits players in many ways. When a player resets a dungeon, it reverts to its original state as it was when you first entered it, which means all enemies, objectives, and boss battles are reset.

In the first beta version, players could reset dungeons by pressing a single button. However, this is no longer the case as Blizzard changed the way dungeons are reset following the game's official launch. Since then, players have been discovering new ways to reset dungeons. That said, here’s how you can rest dungeons in Diablo 4.

There are several ways to reset dungeons in Diablo 4. But before you do that, make sure to complete all objectives inside a dungeon. After completing all the tasks, you can exit the dungeon by teleporting back to town or using the "Leave Dungeon" option on your action wheel.

This is the fastest way to reset solo dungeons:

  • Press M to open your map.
  • Then, you need to expand the Journal tab on the right side.
  • Click on the Reset Dungeons button.
  • A warning message will pop up indicating that all dungeons will be reset.
  • Once you click “Accept,” the dungeons will reset.

There is also another way you can reset all Dungeons and Nightmare Dungeons, which works in both solo and online play. Follow these steps to reset dungeons in Diablo 4:

  • First, leave the dungeon.
  • Wait outside the dungeon area for a minute.
  • Then, you need to exit the game and go back to the character select menu.
  • The dungeon and its enemies should reset upon returning to your saved game.

If you are in a group dungeon, follow the steps below to reset the dungeon:

  • Firstly, all members should leave the party.
  • The group leader needs to exit the dungeon, while other players are automatically kicked outside, causing it to reset.
  • Another player should invite everyone to their party and enter the newly reset dungeon.

There is no restriction on how many times you can reset normal or nightmare dungeons. This allows you to repeatedly reset them to farm XP, loot, and gold. You can apply this method on a specific dungeon where you want to farm and then eventually move on to resetting other dungeons in Diablo 4.
