Actors who appeared in multiple episodes as different characters. Any I missed?

Discussion (Original)
  • Carolyn Seymour was in "A Portrait for Troian" as Priscilla Stoltz, and was in the evil leaper episodes as Zoey.

  • Charles Rocket was in "A Leap For Lisa" as Dirk and in "A Little Miracle" as Michael Blake

  • Olivia Burnette was in "The Leap Home" as Sam's sister Katie, and I couldn't find a picture from "Another Mother" but she was the daughter Susan in that episode.

Many many many more! But how can most importantly you forget Bruce McGill? He played Weird Ernie (pilot) and of course Al the bartender (Mirror Image)

Ah of course. How did I forget Bruce McGill? Dang it

He should have been the first person you thought of after Olivia Burnette. All others should have been after that.

Like Dean Stockwell playing the evil version of Al, Sam playing his own father, and several of the characters in Mirror Image being actors from previous episodes (Jimmy for example).

The last episode was different. I'm referring to actors that played two separate characters. Not call-back characters or the main characters playing different people.

Oh, so now you're adding some rules to it.

Don Bellisario's son played several kids in various episodes. Willie Garson was Seymour in Play it again Seymour and Lee Harvey Oswald in... well, Lee Harvey Oswald. Liz Vassey of csi fame was in Goodbye Norma Jean as Marilyn's assistant and in Raped with a smaller part. QL was famous for reusing actors. If you go on Imdb you can check out the cast list and see who's played several parts.

THAT'S WHO LIZ VASSEY WAS!!! Oh my gosh that's been driving me crazy. I saw her when I re-watched the raped episode recently and swore I saw her in another episode.

Man. Willie Garson was a busy guy.

I know W.K. Stratton played three separate characters: Dr. Berger (S1E1 Genesis), Sheriff Roundtree (S2E17 Good Night, Dear Heart) and Larry Stanton (S5E9-10 Trilogy Pt II & III).

Honorable Mention:

While Brad Silverman only played two characters in the series, he appeared (mostly in mirror images) in four separate episodes: Jimmy (S2E8), Shock Theater (S3E22), Deliver Us From Evil (S5E7), and Mirror Image (S5E22) as Pete.

Teddy Wilson was in “Pool Hall Blues” and “Rebel Without a Clue”

I love catching these! Esp when same actors meet again on other projects.

I rewatched Shock Theater a while back and thought it was funny that at one point Sam is "playing" Magic when the personality comes up among the others. It's brief, only a couple lines, I think.

Almost everybody and mirror image had been in an episode before

The doctor from the premier episode was also in the second season and of course the commander from the premier was also in the finale as the bar keeper

You’ve missed so many

With the DVDs, I rewatched the Carolyn Seymour episodes to see if it was intentional in any way because both characters were so creepy and the ending of A Portrait is so cryptic. Or if the characteres were connected in some way. But I don't think there was any connection; I don't believe they intended her to be an evil leaper later on.

I love that we had Olivia Burnette twice and in two great episodes!
