How easy is it to find hosts in Europe ?

Community Question

Hi :) I am new to the Worldpackers community and I sent 5 applications and only got one a answer and the host haven't reply after from now... Currently looking for anything between June and August. How much time did it took before you found your host?

First time user too. I havent volunteered yet. I submitted 4 applications and got 3 yeses my first few weeks.

I recommend that you use filters such as "higher probability of approval", create a very good profile with photos, videos and your social networks, and also a very personalized request focused on their needs and how you can contribute to them.

Also, within your first messages I set the goal of getting to know each other, not of obtaining the position. So I push for a video call.

I dont have experience in WP but this method has been working for me for a long time on Trusted House sitter and it seems to work here too.

Best of luck!

Hello, there is a post in the FAQ of this subreddit that answers that, but my main advice is that if you apply for the summer do it several months in advance, preferably for ecological experiences and above all do not waste your time sending applications to hosts with a response rate of less than 50%.

Anyway, read the full post for more recommendations that will be useful to you.
