Hey can anyone recommend a good movie with a male main character that has been sexually assaulted and has to deal with that?

REQUESTING

I watched the movie "The Perks of Being a Wallflower" and I thought it was pretty interesting, but I wanted to see it touch more on the SA part and how it affected the main character. I've been looking around the internet for more movies that do something similar but no matter what I search only movies about female SA come up. I would appreciate it if you guys could assist me here.

P.S: I would prefer it if the movie dealt with the man having this happen to him at the hands of a woman as opposed to a man, and if you know anything a movie where it's done by someone close to him. I just really want to see something more similar to my situation and again, I would greatly appreciate any reccomendations/assistance you can provide.

There's a great new Netflix mini-series about that, but it would be a major spoiler to tell which once, since it's a big reveal in the middle of the season.

Oh that's fine, I've genuinely never cared about spoilers.

Ok, it's baby reindeer. Nd I also highly recommend the docs Tell Me Who I Am and Procession which also deal with this trauma.

May December takes direct inspiration from Mary Kay Letourneau. It deals in part with the lasting effects on the husband/victim character - Charles Melton is great in it, btw.

The Book of Revelation (2006)

Though it doesn’t fully fit the scope of OP’s criterion . (Main character being SA) , I humbly offer Mystic River where Tim Robbins won an Oscar for Best Supporting Actor . His character had been SA

Embers (2015)? It follows a bunch of characters in the post-apocalypse.

The movie To Die For has this. It's statutory and covers it only very subtly. I wouldn't say it's a serious movie.
