Top 3 Lehigh Valley-area concerts: Broken Arrow, The Ultimate Michael Jackson Experience and Hell’s Belles

The top 3 Lehigh Valley-area concerts this week come packed with a trio of tribute acts ready to wow audiences with their take on some big names.

First, a Neil Young tribute, Broken Arrow, hits Grange Park as part of Concerts on the Grange, sharing the bill with CSNY tribute, Laurel Canyon.

Next, a tribute to the “King of Pop,” Who’s Bad, brings the Michael Jackson experience to the Sherman Theater for their 20th anniversary tour.

And last, an all-female AC/DC tribute rocks the Sellersville Theater showcasing why Angus Young has given the band his full endorsement.

Broken Arrow: A Tribute to Neil Young

Meet the Band: Taking on the music of Neil Young, Broken Arrow swivels between electric “Crazy Horse” rocker tunes and pedal-steel driven acoustic country songs to dive into the full Young canon (well, a lot of it!). Front man Joe Mass has done his homework and encapsulates the full Young experience hitting every move and note with ease.

Who’s Bad: The Ultimate Michael Jackson Experience

Meet the Band: The longest-running Michael Jackson tribute band around, Who’s Bad has been selling out venues since before the King of Pop’s passing. Having shared the stage with the likes of Aretha Franklin, The Backstreet Boys, The Four Tops, Boys II Men, and Pitbull, the group puts on a highly professional performance complete with classic Michael Jackson dance moves and choreography, distinctive Michael Jackson outfits, and vocals that rival Jackson’s very own.

Hell’s Belles-All Female AC/DC Tribute

Meet the band: When AC/DC belted out “For Those About to Rock, We Salute You,” Hell’s Belle’s took note, grabbed their gear, and started doing the band proud — Angus Young gave the band his official endorsement in 2003. Selling out shows in all corners of the world from Jordan to Singapore, Japan to Canada, and the entire U.S., the all-female AC/DC tribute takes the songs of AC/DC and delivers them like the band in its prime.
