The truth is Evil one, by James Wan, is one of those films whose script twist is everything. For this reason, it is better to watch the movie without knowing anything about it. We can only say that it is very well filmed, that it has some quite surprising action scenes for its genre and that the film opts for a style quite different from what we usually see in Wan’s films. Beyond that, it is best not to reveal anything at all.
The criticism was very favorable with Evil one while the public hated her. In some ways, the opposite happened to what usually happens in James Wan’s films, which tend to have a greater following from the public than from critics. Inexplicably, in this case it was the other way around as can be seen on Rotten Tomatoes. Personally, I thought it was a good movie in its genre. and I highly recommend it.
