Kenny Omega names matches he's had in AEW that he personally considers to be underrated.
When your tagline is "Best Bout Machine" the pressure is on to deliver at every turn. However, when you deliver with such consistency, some matches will not be as remembered as others.
During his recent Twitch stream, Omega was asked about what are some matches he considered to be underrated from his time in AEW. Omega named matches from AEW's first year and a half on television, citing the Iron Man Match with PAC in 2020 and the match against Christian Cage on the inaugural episode of AEW Rampage as two examples.
"Underrated match I've had in AEW? There's two that come to mind right away. My first match against Christian and the Iron Man Match against PAC."
Omega then jokingly got very defensive about the quality of these matches.
"People just forget this shit. If you even try to compare that to what a lot of stuff that's like now, just fucking give it a shot, and if you try to tell me that other stuff is better or like, 'Whoa! That was way back when. That's old and not as good...' You shut the fuck up. You get out of town. You don't know shit about shit."
There you have it. Kenny Omega takes this business very seriously.
