Speaking from experience, Torch Song Fennekin is pretty wild. It's not the strongest user of the move, but it's probably the most accessible outside of Fuecoco - and it doesn't need to evolve twice to use it!
I just got torch song volcarona. Haven't used it yet but I'm assuming it's busted.
It's literally just a better fiery dance, which is already a good move on Volc
I find the only problem with volc is that it does absolutely nothing early game and can really struggle late game. The only way it’s dealing witheternatus is with TM earth power, and you’re still completely walled by rayquaza I guess most mons have the same issue, but for a pokemon that can’t offer anything until level 50ish it’s a little bit of a hard sell. Still kinda carried me through my first classic run tho lol
Carried me to my first classic clear, damn near solo'd the hoenn elite four.
My fen has torch song and thunderbolt.
Heatran also gets Torch Song and yes it is fun
As an egg move?? I'm stocking vouchers for when he's on the egg machine
Yes, and I happened to have hatched it not only with Torch Song but a modest nature as well so I'm happy
Heatran comes out of Epic Eggs, not Legendary, so he won’t be on the egg machine
I managed to get Torch Song Chi Yu which is really nice

Yea, it's rough. I've been using him trying to get enough candies to unlock his passive, which is drought. It's not too useful in Classic, but having a Torch Song spamming Chi Yu in the sun with its regular ability when it gets implemented will absolutely be a monster
My Torch Song Delphox soloed everything up to 195 M-Ray, I dunno I'd call it pretty cracked personally. That move is bonkers on anything with an actual speed stat.
Freeze dry manaphy. On a related note, it goes well with another manaphy egg move in splishy splash. Splishy splash is surf+ and freeze dry takes care of things that are immune to surf+ due to water absorb and the like. Pair that with passive simple and level 1 move tail glow and you one shot things that RESIST you with +6 special attack
Yeah that's , kinda busted.
Which is why I'm glad I got those two egg moves and one of my two manaphy hatches was MODEST too, and I have like 29 special attack ivs

I tried to do a manaphy only run and the only reason I failed is because I found a suicune and I didn't have one yet
I’ve only unlocked Bouncy Bubble and that by itself already feels nuts. +6 special attack, give it all the zinc/iron/hp-up you can find, and that’s a football-sized water vampire
My setup heals itself another way because I don't have bouncy bubble yet. Mine uses aqua ring.
Ditto with Keldeo. Got that along with having Secret Sword by default and it’s just rolling.
Not a single move but fennekin is just broken all around - Moonblast, Thunderbolt, Expanding Force, and Torch song - literally the only thing that gets replaced is expanding force and now you have a scaling fire move, water coverage, and dark and dragon coverage
why would you remove the fish from your sushi?! Don't remove expanding force, it gets psychic surge now
Fennekin is so underrated. It has great coverage. Absolutely will handle everything till 195 without a problem. And isn’t slow as molasses either

Quiver dance Gardevoir is pretty good.
Q.dance then you can recover with a draining kiss.
In endless mode you will run into expanding force tm.(Psychic surge passive), And hyper voice tm (mega hard has pixilate),
Pixilate boosted boomburst is also pretty insane on Mega Gardevoir. I was OHKO’ing steel types with it.
seconding this, pixilate boomburst is NUTTY - pair it with a good poison or steel / soundproof pkmn and you can wipe out whole screens of pokemon in doubles even through resistances, highly recommend
Honestly my dragon energy mega sceptile has been carrying my runs. Pairing it with my rotom with multi lens and discharge raises its sp attack with lighting rod to destroy everything in its path.
That's nasty lol, mans picking lures after every battle to set that up

Sappy seed is a stupid move, it works super well on ferrothorn. No retreat annihilape also goes hard.
My 3rd successful run was hard carried by Sappy Seed Ferrothorn, that combo is absolutely heinous
I haven’t gotten it yet, but I really want to get origin pulse clauncher. Clauncher was my first shiny, and with water pulse, dragon pulse, aura sphere and armor cannon is hard carried most of my first classical win, including sweeping all of the rivals other than 195. I can’t even imagine the power replacing 90BP water pulse with 165BP spread origin pulse would do
I hatched a Squirtle with Origin Pulse as an Egg Move… Yeah Mega Launcher + Origin Pulse + STAB is extremely disgusting. Oneshots even resists

Boomburst helioptile is currently carrying my endless run at wave 2100.
150 base power, stab, wide hitting move, and all you need as your partner is a ghost type or someone with sound proof ability.
I got boom burst ralts, mega evolved it and mixed that with a mega latios. Mega latiovoir with pixilate boom burst and dragon energy. If the game wasn't to laggy I'd be further but I'm at around wave 750
Ghost type with helping hand has been my go to for this combo. Greavard has pickup and learns helping hand, so I’ve been taking him and stopping him from evolving, just boom burst and helping hand my way to infinity
Ooo you could even fuse that with a Pokémon with galvanize for even more damage and electric typing or even punk rock
Thousand arrow for Rayqayza pretty OP cuz it can hit both enemy and can hit flying enemy
That means ivy can have it...
Runerigus also gets it

Rising Voltage Koraidon on its electric terrain nukes 99% of non-ground types, even resists. Only downside is that its single target.
Quiver dance tapu fini is uh. Pretty good. Not a hard carry early game but man. In my latest run it single handedly beat all elite four members, the champion, the 195 rival fight and did huge damage to the final boss.
Other insane ones I've encountered are barb barrage technician beedrill, fiery wrath iron jugulis, tail glow Vulpix and body press/ shore up mudbray,
Core Enforcer Duraludon is pretty godly too. Hits everything but fairy and 100 power special move. Hits multiple opponents as well. Probly not the most OP, but for coverage it is nice
Bolt break/ fishious rend are so broken helped by the fact that x Speed can help Mons that are a bit slow. Had bolt break on Zekrom before it was moved to the rare slot, it was disgustingly op
I know this is by no means anywhere near the strongest, but I just wanted to say that I've been having an absolute blast with my Salt Cure Aron! Go-to starter every time for me now :]

Awesome!! He's been absolutely invaluable, just finished getting my first classic mode victory with him and he put in an immense amount of work. Salt cure with protect hard carried me especially at the end! Aron for life

Fiery Dance is so broken.
Yeah it is! Especially on Chandelure, who gets Soul Heart as a passive. You are never not at +6

Oricorio was one of my first shinies and had fiery dance. I used it as my carry for my first classic win.
Quiver Dance on Latios, was awesome with Stored Energy.
Triple Axel on Flamigo makes it a better game sweeper than Technician Meowth IMO

Meteor Mash on my Togedemaru has been my go-to carry on most runs. Dude just does WORK, it's kinda crazy.
All I need is to make sure one other pokemon is water or ground and he is all set to just roll.
Mine’s a tie between Ceaseless Edge Terrakion or Stone Axe Crustle.

Hisuian Zorua gets Blood Moon. Sure, give one of the strongest Normal type move STABs in the game to something with a ridiculous Special Attack. Goodbye, everything not resistant or immune to Normal.
Cosmic Power Happiny with near-perfect Def and Sp.D IVs is practically unkillable
My most unexpected good move turned out to be Ceaseless Edge on zigzagoon

Groudon is already awesome, but Morning Sun to just heal during battle makes it absolutely insane
Fiery Wrath on Darkrai is insane, 1 hits everything and is aoe so 1 hits in duo battles
FW Darkrai soloes classic (except the final alien boss) when combined with its other egg move Moonblast. Only steel type would resist that combo. I don’t have it, but it also gets Searing Shot. That’ll cover all bases, even it’s bug weakness.
Add to the fact it learns nasty plot naturally, it’s so over especially the rival who loves to switch frequently. Pop in nasty plot and sweep the battle.
It has been my go to carry for weaker mons to get the ribbon. Just need a good mon to carry the final boss.

Also note that the last egg move is Spore lol. You can forego Searing Shot for a potential to setup on any non-spore immune mons and sweep subsequently. Add to the fact, it has unnerve passive to stop any berry shenanigans. All that on a 135 base SpA and 125 Spe. The devs really cooked HIM.
Hatched multiple Fuecoco eggs and got both Alluring Voice and Overdrive for coverage options!

Rising Voltage Tapu Koko is something that exists within this game which is certainly something
Core enforcer on latios. 100 base power special stab move that hits multiple opponents on an extremely powerful special attacker

Skill swap regigigas so you aren't crippled for 5 turns
Calyrex is already broken but giving it sacred sword for near perfect coverage with astral barrage is next level busted. I'm floor 1200 with it and it destroys nearly everything
Precipice Blades on Groundon nukes everything touching the ground. And if its flying, I sit on it with Heat Crash.

I’ve got a dragon dance Gible and a superpower, contrary Inkay.
I don’t know if it’s insane but Body Press Shuckle is decent
Probably not super crazy, but my Boomburst hoothoot has saved my ass multiple times for a very low starter cost
When i first started, i audibly gasped when i saw surging strikes on Buizle.
Power up punch on Marshadow is pretty neat. You already have coverage right out the bat with the elemental punches, and a STAB boosted Technician proc makes it just physical touch song on a much speedier mon
a few underrated ones that come to mind are Supercell Slam Torchic, Multi-Attack Bunneary, and Diamond Storm Nacli :D
