On Saturday 11 May, NLCS hosted a joyous gathering of alumnae celebrating their 10, 20, 30, and 40-year reunions.
We also held a small reunion for former staff. With over 140 old friends reconnecting, the School was filled much laughter as those in attendance reminisced about their time at NLCS.
Under the bright sunshine, our guests were treated to hard hat tours of the IDEAS Hub, taking a peek at the modern facilities and the school’s future ambitions. Many took the opportunity to wander through the familiar halls, sharing memories and stories of their time at NLCS.
As part of the forthcoming 175 anniversary celebrations next year, alumnae were invited to share their fondest memories on camera, providing tales of classroom antics as well as reflections on the impact of their education, these stories we will collate as a touching tribute to the school’s legacy.
Vicky Bingham gave a short address before a two-course lunch, which induced some nostalgic memories of School dinners.
“It’s wonderful to be back here and see how much has changed, yet how much remains the same,” remarked one alumna. “This school holds so many special memories for all of us, and it’s fantastic to come together.”
