Anyone else keeping their fingers crossed for a live album out of the Me/We tour?
These shows have been really great and considering we got one out of the Individualist tour from a couple years back, I hope to get one out of this tour!
Hope so!
Saw the Chicago show, front row. I could do without some of the obscure deep cuts. What was really odd was Todd had zero between song banter or commentary...none. Will see him again next week in Nashville at the Ryman.
I didn't think they were particularly obscure. Banter? Who cares?
I'd love a live album but I'm really hoping for a new Todd record with all new Todd tunes, no collaborations...it's been a number of years. Global in 2015 was his last non-collaborative studio album I believe.
June 20, LA! Hope it's as amazing as The Individualist tour was!
Definitely! In my opinion I think this was better. His voice sounds remarkable still!
Absolutely, his voice has matured. I'm seeing him in another small venue in June, Saban.
It would be great because it would not just be "all the hits" we've all heard so many times but instead lots of deep cuts and songs that (I think) mean a lot to TR.
How much difference is there in this, and The Individualist tour ? I'll see him in Dallas in June. I saw the individualistic and was alllll so fortunate To go to Chicago and see the "Clearly Human" during covid....not sure he'll ever be able to top that one
This show is a deep cuts type of thing. It opens up similarly to individualist with fanfare and I think you know but goes into a lot of his 90’s songs. I can’t remember the track list in full but Hit Me Like a Train, Worldwide Epiphany, Woman’s World, and Fascist Christ were some that I got off the top of my head. There were some Liars songs and a song from Arena as well. But I agree the Clearly Human show was the best in recent years! He also nailed it in Australia a few months back!
Great! I love No World order.
I’m seeing him next week in Charlotte. What can I expect?
Lots of Deep Cuts/ pretty neat and unique stage sets/ higher quality vocals from Todd (seriously he hasn’t sounded this great since the 00’s)/ and the band playing amazing with Todd as always!
