Now, we've learned that Venom has a confirmed skin, helping further solidify his inclusion in the larger game. That information comes by way of a new datamine from the game's latest patch -- v1.1.918573.

Venom Is Further Along Than Expected

Miller Ross, a reliable leaker who's made a name for himself by sharing details about other superhero games, has been at the forefront of sharing details about Marvel Rivals. The two previous datamine leaks came by way of Ross, and now the gamer has further information about Marvel Rivals.

Taking to Twitter, Ross shared that as part of Monday's patch, 37 skins are now present in the game's files. Of those 37 skins, Ross claims that 32 of them are nearly complete. The remaining five are still works in progress. Check it out:

Perhaps most notable about this recent datamine is that Venom already has a confirmed skin. Previously, Venom was part of a separate datamine outlining unannounced characters and this latest development helps back up that leak. It would also appear that Venom is further along than expected, which means a reveal could be on the horizon.

Venom Or Ven#m?

Eagle-eyed fans will notice that the skin in question is not based off of one of Venom's previous hosts, like Eddie Brock. Instead, it's referred to as Ven#m. That is not a typo.

For the uninitiated, Ven#m is a mech suit similar to Peni Parker's own suit. It's piloted by Addy Brock, and works functionally in the same way as the Venom symbiote, with some differences.

It would make sense for there to be a Ven#m-based skin given that Peni Parker is a playable character in the game. The two are linked in the comics. Now, it remains to be seen how that skin will work, given that the original Venom looks and will potentially play differently than its mech-inspired relative.

Only time will tell how Ven#m is incorporated into the fold. In the interim, though, check out this sweet Namor skin that is modeled after his look in Wakanda Forever.
