We will be traveling with a baby that still needs to use a car seat. Is it still true that we can call a rental car that has a car seat already? Please let us know so we know to take one or not. Thank you!

Being exempt and being safe are not the same thing. I'd just not ride in taxis around town and would book a car with a seat from the airport.
From random observations most paris taxis had a booster in the trunk, though if your little one still needs a proper car seat you'll have to book online.
