In an exclusive interview with TUKO.co.ke, the Wajinga Nyinyi crooner revealed that the film cost him KSh 6 million and paid about 162 people involved in the process.

How long did it take to shoot Monkey Business?

"Most of them went to acting classes, including Scar (Wakadinali). We just did not pick people and take them to the set. I spent so much money that I did not want to run losses. I wanted to see how the money would come back. Between now and November, I have spent KSh 6 million. We bought equipment because I am a firm believer in ownership. I did not want to hire things because that is where production spends a lot of money," he said.
