During a post-show press conference held after UFC on ESPN 56, Dana White, the President of UFC, suggested the possibility of WWE pay-per-view events moving back to Sunday as a part of TKO-branded weekends.

Over the last few years, WWE shifted their pay-per-view events to Saturdays.

White stated that the upcoming schedule includes Friday Power Slap, Saturday UFC, and Sunday WWE. He said,

We already have those dates set up right now, where Power Slap goes Friday and UFC goes Saturday. And then you’re going to see Friday Power Slap, Saturday UFC, and Sunday WWE. You’ll start seeing that stuff too.

WWE has been considering an earlier start time of 7:00 PM EST for domestic pay-per-view events, a practice they followed years ago.

However, WWE has kept the start time unchanged for certain additional pay-per-view events, such as NXT Heatwave, SummerSlam, and Bash in Berlin.

White’s report suggests that the WWE pay-per-view events may not shift to Sunday every month but only on weekends when TKO has its production team in the same city for multiple events.
