Millbrook traveled to Miss Hall’s for a Monday, rescheduled game. The Millbrook offense was able to string together 23 hits on the day (including 6 extra-base hits) to score in every inning to earn the win.

In the top of the first, Haley Malmgren ‘25 had an RBI single to score Kelly Naula ‘24. In the bottom of the inning, the Millbrook defense had a great 1-2-3 inning - finished off with a great relay from Naula in center to Stella Renzi ‘26 at third to catch the Miss Hall’s runner trying to extend her hit for the third out.

In the top of the second, Lilliah Tambourine ‘26 got things started with a double and was scored by an RBI hit from Ingrid Schmitt ‘26. Maddie O’Brien ‘25 followed with her own hit to get aboard before Stella Renzi ‘26 had an RBI single to score Schmitt. The Mustang defense was strong again in the bottom of the second. The score was 3-0 headed into the third inning.

The third inning saw Millbrook and Miss Hall’s trade runs. Millbrook’s run came after a solo homerun from Jaicee Downs ‘26. The score was 4-1 headed into the fourth.

Millbrook tacked 4 more runs on the board in the 4th inning to extend their lead to 8-1. Renzi got things started before Jess Trocchio ‘24 tripled to score Renzi. Naula then got on ahead of a Downs RBI sac fly that scored Trocchio. Malmgren tripled to score Naula, followed by a double from Hailey Mesard ‘25 that scored Malmgren. The score was 8–1 headed into the 5th inning.

Millbrook’s one run of the 5th inning was scored by Schmitt (reached on balls) on a Renzi RBI single. In the bottom of the 5th, Millbrook had another great 1-2-3 inning, including a great foul ball catch from Trocchio behind the plate.

Heading into the 6th inning, the score was 9-1, but the Mustangs were not done. Mesard got things started with a triple and was scored on an RBI single from Tambourine. Schmitt kept the hitting going before O’Brien scored Tambourine. Renzi followed with her own hit before Schmitt stole home. Downs then scored Renzi to increase the Millbrook lead 13-1. The Millbrook defense was tight in the bottom of the 6th with a third 1-2-3 inning of the game, including a great foul ball catch by Schmitt at first.

An offensive shout out to the entire team -every Millbrook batter had at least 2 hits on the day - with Renzi going an impressive 4-4 and Malmgren, Mesard, and Naula adding 3 a piece.

We head to Canterbury on Wednesday for the final regular season game.
