1. Michael Cohen, Donald Trump’s one time ‘fixer’, wasted no time implicating and potentially breaking the former president in the hush money trial.  Yesterday on the stand Cohen testified under oath that Trump said “Just Do It” in reference to paying Stormy Daniels to stay quiet. Cohen also detailed his collaboration with ex-National Enquirer publisher David Pecker in a catch-and-kill scheme to quash negative stories about Trump.

2. Canada is bringing the smoke again. Canadian wildfire smoke is once again drifting into the northern US, triggering air quality alerts in states including Minnesota and the Dakotas | Roughly 140 fires are burning across central Canada; nearly 40 are listed as out of control.

5.  And a Norfolk, Virginia man can say that his garden is ‘the bomb’. Andrew Taunton says he was digging up a shrub on Saturday when he picked up an odd-shaped rock. Turns out the rock was actually a World War Two-era grenade. His call to dispatchers led to a huge response from police, fire and bomb squad personnel. The item was examined and no threat was found, so Andrew got to keep it as a souvenir.
