Ha! I could make yet another New Kids On The Block pun, but oh, oh, oh oh...that wouldn't be right (stuff).
...alright, I apologize. I know when they say 'face off' it's usually an asshole character tossed in to make more drama. Which is a shame, the actor is quite sweet. I'm calling it, this guy has a beef with 51 over their 'new truck' and will accuse them of special treatment or something.

It's probably just a one-time guest spot. NKOTB tours very frequently throughout the year (but that doesn't stop Donnie from touring and being fulltime on Blue Bloods) and Joey is often in plays and Broadway as well.

He's from Indianapolis FD and he's pissed that the bad guys took it upon themselves to rig up Truck 81 with explosives. That truck was supposed to go to Indy FD cuz they have budget cuts too.
