Vinted-anyone had this before?

Bought a new with tags hoodie on vinted for around 20 quid Inc everything. I've just opened it and it smells really strongly of fabric conditioner, looks a little bobbly in places and has some dirt marks around the hem.. The tag is as pictured but wondering if people really wiggle the tag off, wear then put back on? Not sure whether to wash and keep or try and return but then I'll be out of pocket for the postage.

I think things can get a little grubby if they are stored for a while in tops of wardrobes etc but that doesn't explain the bobbling!

Yeah it's very slight.. I have the same hoodie in another colour from new from the actual shop and it isn't bobbly. But it is an older style no longer sold so could have been hanging around a while. Vinted paranoia, can't trust any of them 😬

You can buy Kimble guns on Amazon for less than £10. If you keep a tag it's very easy to reattach. That label doesn't look right, I think if you went in a sweaty Betty store the labels would be attached neater.

I've compared it to a jacket I recently got from SB that still has tags on and the tag looks the same but more beaten up somehow. Grr!

Just debobble and wash it? It’s still much much cheaper than buying one from Sweaty Betty directly.

This is what I'm thinking, I just hate feeling conned. I've had some great stuff off vinted very very cheap so I guess that offsets things like this.

Depending how much I’ve spent I have just let this kind of thing gone, washed it myself and used it, but still felt aggrieved that people lie or at the v least aren’t honest!

The fabric conditioner smell is normal. It’s from the other clothes in the drawers/wardrobe. Plus your nose will be a lot more sensitive to smells you aren’t used to.
