Tonight is the series premiere of Sins of the South on Oxygen at 8/7c. The American?South?is known for its beauty and culture: the music, the food, the hospitality. However, its dark side – the greed, the lust, the wrath – can be just as alluring.?This is a riveting new true crime series that illuminates the drama, the history and the crime stories found below the Mason-Dixon line. With a deliciously delightful Southern inflected narration, each of the 12-hour-long episodes unravel the twists and turns of a?real-life?murder, highlighting the disturbing crimes of the?South and the wickedness that led to it. First-hand accounts from victims’ loved ones and law enforcement, archival footage and cinematic recreations bring these?sinful?stories to life.

Tonight is the 2-hour series premiere of Expedition from Hell: The Lost Tapes on Discovery Channel at 10:04/9:04c. A limited docuseries that uncovers a doomed expedition through the Amazon led by a charismatic guide with unclear motives, it unfolds a stranger-than-fiction story of Mickey Grosman, a former special forces demolitions expert who took a group of amateur adventurers on a nearly impossible journey across South America. Positioned as a charity trek for cancer awareness, participants were to be part of a 5,000-mile expedition across the continent through the deepest parts of the Amazon jungle. Only one claims to have made it to the end… Mickey Grosman. The series uses the over 700 hours of archival footage shot from the trip to unfold a fascinating series of misfortunes and ineptitudes that quickly turned what was to be an already challenging expedition into a near constant struggle to survive. Tracing the rise and fall (and fall again) of a doomed adventure involving kidnapping, prison escapes, and a missing person, Expedition from Hell: The Lost Tapes uncovers brand new revelations that shock even those who were alongside Grosman during the ill-fated adventure.

Tonight is the complete limited series premiere of 99 on Amazon at 12:01AM/11:01PMc. This new three-part documentary series celebrates the year Manchester United won the treble. It tells the remarkable story of how, in 1999, Manchester United made football history by winning the Premier League, FA Cup, and UEFA Champions League.

Tonight is the 2-episode series premiere of The Big Cigar on Apple TV+ at 12:01AM/11:01PMc. This highly anticipated limited drama series chronicles the story of Black Panther leader Huey P. Newton’s escape to Cuba, and is based on the monumental, eponymous magazine article of the same name. Legendary award-winning actor, producer and director Don Cheadle serves as director and executive producer on the first two episodes. Based on the magazine article by Joshuah Bearman, who will also serve as executive producer, The Big Cigar is the incredible true story of Hollywood revolution meeting social revolution: it’s a wild caper of Black Panther founder Newton escaping from the FBI to Cuba with the assistance of famed producer Bert Schneider in an impossibly elaborate plan – involving a fake movie production – that goes wrong every way it possibly can. And somehow, it’s all true. Mostly. It stars Alessandro Nivola, Andre Holland, Glynn Turman, Jordane Christie, Marc Menchaca, Moses Ingram, Olli Haaskivi, P.J. Bryne, Rebecca Dalton, & Tiffany Boone.
