TV presenter Sophie Morgan has reportedly decided to part ways with Loose Women, after more than two and a half years on the ITV show. The hugely courageous paraplegic, who vowed not to let the road accident she suffered as a teen bring her down, was an instant hit alongside the likes of Coleen Nolan, Denise Welch, Judi Love and Katie Piper.

However, she's now set her sights on the American Dream, as she revealed in her latest Instagram update. "Firstly, as some of you know, it has been a dream of mine to live and work in the US for some time now, and it has finally become a reality," she exclaimed, sharing her joy.

"I find life here [in the US] so accessible; I feel like a different person, more free and less disabled!" Sophie added that this was "thanks partly to the ADA, the weather and the general positivity".

Raising fans' hopes that they may not have seen the last of her on daytime TV, she added: "I will be based between LA & London and am excited to continue sharing my adventures with you all." She added that she has just landed "the biggest broadcast gig" of her career thus far.

"I'll give that the time, platform and excitement it deserves on here as soon as I'm allowed!" She exclaimed via her Instagram page, where she has over 100,000 followers. Sophie has also dropped another bombshell for her British fans, ending fears that she might be leaving them behind to focus on her new American lifestyle.

"In the meantime (I have been dying to shout about this), for the past 18 months, I’ve been working on a new Channel 4 documentary, and it will be out very soon," she teased.

"This doc is set to be a trailblazing piece of television which combines my two foremost passions, authentic representation in TV and disability rights."

She divulged that it will be co-produced by US actress Reese Witherspoon's "game-changing" production company, and shared that filming it has been "a real labour of love".

Confirming her Loose Women departure in a lengthy Instagram post, she told fans she had an "incredible" time working on "a dream platform for a disabled woman with a lot to say".

"We’ve made some unbelievable progress but still have a long way to go."
